The Farm Shop
Transforming a traditional fruit and veg shop into a modern brand for sustainable living.
The Farm Shop at the Old Granary in Linton sells fruit, vegetables and health foods with a focus on organic, local and sustainable produce.
When Jenny Colgan took over the organic fruit and veg shop in Linton she had a clear idea of how she wanted to rebrand the business.
Jenny centred the shop around sustainable living and wanted her logo to include a bee because, without them, there would be no produce. The overall brand identity should be clean and simple, as a nod to Jenny’s Swedish heritage.
In close collaboration with Jenny, I designed a simple but distinctive logo focused on an anatomical bee. We opted for a monochrome design, in keeping with other local shops.
Jenny also commissioned me to design business cards, the shop sign, cotton aprons for staff, their website and social media graphics.
The suite of collateral consistently and professionally convey the clean fresh look The Farm Shop needed for their rebrand and launch.
The shop reopened as The Farm Shop At The Old Granary in December 2017 and continues to go from strength to strength. We are very proud to have been involved from the start.
